Laura has worked in a variety of mental and behavioral health treatment settings. She received her Master’s degree from California Baptist University in Riverside, CA and began her clinical career serving as a clinician and facilitator with the Wraparound Program working alongside Riverside’s Department of Probation to assist youth as they transitioned back into their communities. Laura has also served as a Behavioral Health Specialist with the County of Riverside working in adult detention. Her major contribution was creating a Step-Down curriculum which is currently used to decrease recidivism by preparing individuals for their transition from detention setting to the surrounding communities. Laura also has clinical experience as a psychiatric therapist working primarily at Kaiser Permanente.

Laura is dedicated to helping others on their overall journey to healing. She believes therapy is an intricate art of healing wounds that are not seen but heard. She views her career as a privilege of having others entrust her with their delicate truths.
