About Kendra McCarthy, LVN

Kendra has been working in the behavioral health field for more than 10 years and in a variety of treatment settings including detoxification, residential, and outpatient centers. In providing care she utilizes her knowledge of the disease processes along with a passion for helping others to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for all clients. It is her priority to give each client individualized care based on their unique needs in order for them to grow and thrive in their recovery and on their healing journey. 

 

Kendra graduated from Concorde Career College in 2010 and received her LVN. She is currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s of Science for Nursing (BSN) program. Kendra also have certifications  in Healthcare Team Leadership and BLS/CPR/First Aid.

In her role, Anissa coordinates care among multiple service providers to best serve the client and serve as an advocate for each and every client. Anissa also ensures that as a whole, the family’s comprehensive health needs are met by creating effective plans of treatment and recovery.

Anissa utilizes a strengths based and holistic approach in her work to promote healthy coping skills and resiliency, while also promoting privacy, well-being and quality of care for her clients. 

Anissa received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage & Family Therapy, specifically with the Latino population.
